Therapy with me isn't about quick fixes or being told what to do. It's a space where all parts of you are welcome - even the ones you haven't found words for yet. I offer three ways of working. Take a look and see what fits.

  • First Session

Your first session is free. It's a chance to get a feel for how I work, tell me what's going on, and decide whether this feels like the right space for you. No obligation - just time to talk, ask questions, and breathe a little.

    Sessions

Each session lasts up to 50 minutes. No particular structure, no unnecessary form-filling, no limit on how many sessions you can have. Some people find six sessions enough; others prefer something longer-term. The choice is always yours.

    Fees

£85 per 50-minute session, in person or online.

Concessions available - please get in touch to discuss.

    Cancellation

I ask for at least one week's notice to cancel or rearrange. Missed sessions are charged in full unless there's been a clear emergency.

    Location

In person at Clapham North, South London (8 Lion Yard, SW4 7NQ). Nearest tubes: Clapham North (7 min walk) and Clapham High Street (5 min walk). Also available online and by telephone.

  • Sometimes one session is enough. To feel heard. To be witnessed. To sit with someone who's fully present with you - without pressure or expectation to return.

Whether this is your first time in therapy, a gentle return after a break, or a way to honour something that needs space right now, this session is yours.

    Who It's For

    • You want to feel heard without committing to ongoing therapy

    • You're navigating a transition, a decision, or a moment of intensity

    • You'd like to try therapy gently, or return after a break

    • You're looking for some clarity or relief in a safe space

It May Not Be Suitable If

You're in crisis or experiencing ongoing risk - in which case regular or specialist support is usually more appropriate.

    Sessions and Fees

Available online or in person. Bring whatever feels most alive - there's no right or wrong way to use the time.

    50 minutes · £90  -  a focused space for whatever's most present

90 minutes · £120  -  more room to hold and explore

There's no obligation to continue - and you're always welcome to come back.

  • I use the term relationship psychotherapy because I don't want to privilege one kind of bond over another. Romantic partnerships are often the focus of traditional couples counselling - but life is richer than that. Siblings, adult parent–child relationships, friendships, co-parenting, blended families, chosen families - these all shape who we are. If a relationship matters to you, it deserves space, respect, and depth.

    How We Begin

Because every relationship has its own rhythm, we use the first meeting to get a sense of what's happening between you, what you each hope for, and what pace feels right.

If one of you feels unsure, I offer a free 20-minute orientation call with the primary enquirer first. This helps us work out whether joint sessions are the right step, or whether a different structure makes more sense at the start.

    Fees

    £110 per 60-minute session.

What This Is - and Isn't

Relationship therapy isn't about winning arguments or proving points. It's about creating enough space, safety, and clarity for two people to genuinely understand each other - whatever your relationship looks like.

When a person realises he [sic] has been deeply heard, his eyes moisten. I think in some real sense he is weeping for joy. It is as though he were saying, ‘Thank God, somebody heard me. Someone knows what it’s like to be me.’
— Carl R. Rogers, founder of the Person-Centred Approach
